This page covers both sejbosejbo.fyi and its companion app. It's short because there isn't much to hide - here's exactly what we collect, why, and what we don't.
What We Collect
- Anything you upload - images, GIFs, audio and video up to 500MB, titles, descriptions - is stored on our server indefinitely and shown publicly to everyone who visits. We don't record who submitted it. Uploads are anonymous by design.
- The first time you open the app, our server issues it an anonymous ID, which the app then stores on your device. The app sends it with its requests to us - including when it just reads posts, because that is how it knows which ones you have already voted on, and how it can show you your own comments. It stops the same device voting twice on a post. It isn't linked to your name, email, account, or advertising ID, and we don't use it to track or profile you. Clearing the app's data gets you a brand new one.
- We use your IP address briefly to enforce rate limits (so one person can't flood the site with uploads or votes) and to count visits. It isn't shown publicly, isn't stored in our database, and isn't used to identify anyone. It's held in memory only for the purpose of the rate limit and then discarded - we don't keep server logs of IP addresses long-term.
- We keep a single running total of visits. That's one number, not a list of who visited.
What We Don't Collect
- No accounts, sign-up, email addresses, names, or passwords.
- No advertising ID - the app does not request it.
- No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- No third-party trackers.
- No location, contacts, camera roll access, or device fingerprinting.
- We don't sell or share anything with third parties.
Push Notifications
Only if you turn notifications on in the app. Your device then gets a push token from Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging, and we store that token so we can send one message when a new post goes up. Google handles the delivery, so the token and the message pass through them. The token isn't linked to your uploads, votes or comments, and we don't use it for anything except sending those notifications. Turn notifications off and we delete the token from our side.
Third Parties
sejbosejbo.fyi may be served through Cloudflare, a content delivery network that can see technical request data such as your IP address while a request is in transit to us.
Tipping on the website is handled by Stripe. In-app tipping through Apple or Google Play billing isn't turned on yet. Whichever it is, the payment is handled entirely by them - your card and account details go to them, never to us. We only keep a record that a donation happened (amount, platform, date), never any card or account information.
Children
This is an unmoderated, user-submitted archive, so it isn't directed at or designed for children. It's intended for a general audience aged 13 and up.
Removing Your Content
Anonymous doesn't mean unaccountable. If you want something taken down - yours or anyone else's - email ziga@thekingziga.com with a link to the post. We'll remove it, typically within a few business days, no questions asked.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. Check back here for the current version - the date at the top always reflects the last change.
